Privacy Policy

Overview

This privacy policy covers the Keon Cummings iOS app. It's a personal portfolio and blog app with an AI data science demo. The app is not an enterprise product. It does not run ads, does not track you, and does not sell your data.

What Data Is Collected

  • API credentials — If you connect to the AI demo (Casino Demo), the app stores your workspace credentials locally on your device using AsyncStorage. These never leave your device except to authenticate with the backend.
  • Chat messages — Messages you send in the AI demo are stored locally on your device and sent to the backend to generate responses. They are not logged or retained on the server beyond the scope of the request.
  • Uploaded files — If you upload files through the app, they go to your own isolated workspace on the backend. No one else can access them.

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used to make the app work. Credentials authenticate you. Chat messages get sent to the AI backend so it can respond. Uploaded files get stored in your workspace so the AI can analyze them. That's it.

Third-Party Services

The app communicates with two services:

  • AI Backend API — The backend service that powers the Casino Demo. It processes your queries and returns responses. It does not store your data persistently.
  • keoncummings.com — The website's API routes serve blog content to the app. No personal data is sent in these requests.

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or any other surveillance infrastructure.

Data Retention

Data stored on your device stays there until you clear the app's data or delete the app. Files uploaded to your workspace persist until you delete them. The app does not maintain server-side accounts or profiles.

Data Sharing

Your data is not sold, shared, rented, or disclosed to third parties. There is no data broker relationship. There is no monetization of user data.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact me and I'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. The app may also notify you of significant changes.
