About
I'm Keon. Father. From Chicago. Black in a lot of ways at once and not interested in picking one for your convenience.
I build things. I've been building things for 11 years. The tools changed. The questions got harder. I used to learn by getting stuck. Now the getting-stuck part is gone and I'm trying to figure out what that actually costs.
I write because I think better when I write. Sloppy notes, arrows connecting disconnected thoughts, half a realization here, a contradiction there. Most of what I publish started as something I was trying to work out for myself.
The thing I keep coming back to is judgment. Doing things is cheap now. Knowing which things to do, when to stop, when you're wrong. That's not cheap. That's earned. No tool gives you that.
This site is where I put the writing and the things I build. No pitch. No newsletter. Just the work.
